Get Involved

We want Birmingham to vote Yes for an Elected Mayor in May 2012.

To do this we need as many Brummies to get involved and play their part in the Campaign. There are so many ways that you can get involved:

- tell your friends, family, colleagues about the Campaign and that you are going to vote Yes;

- spread the word on Twitter or Facebook or blog about it – share your views;

- if you can spare some time then get in touch, we need Brummies to campaign on the streets and speak up for a Yes vote, we can provide campaign materials and tips on active campaigning for a Yes vote;

- you could hold a debate or discussion event, or come along to any of our events and share your ideas;

- all campaigning needs money, we will use very little but any donations will be gratefully received and spent wisely and effectively – we as Brummies want as many fellow Brummies as possible to be a part of the Yes Campaign and spend time speaking to people directly instead of spending on lots of advertising. But we do need to pay for some campaign activity still! We hope to be able to take donations soon. Please get in touch if you are interested in helping in this way.

- The Guest Blog is designed to allow those individuals and organisations who think that the idea of a directly elected mayor is good, inspiring or even singularly uninteresting, to have their say. Each week one or more guests will write a post for the blog. Please get in touch if you wish to write a piece for this. Email julia@rebeluncut.co.uk
